Women in Leadership: Ericsson’s Experiment

Ericsson have partnered with a behavioural science practice, MoreThanNow, to pioneer a behavioural approach to diversity and inclusion. In the experiment, they explore the gender problem in corporate leadership. Previous research highlights that the progression of women in entry level positions is much lower compared to their male counterparts, coined as the broken rung problem. By tackling the broken rung problem and conducting A/B testing on DEI initiatives, Ericsson identifies how we can change the representation of women in leadership.
